Bad blogger...

as always....

I really need to come in here more often, but i get side tracked and then get too tired to worry about updating...

All is going well here, Amelia is going GREAT........
She is so wonderful and a great little baby girl..
The older 3 kids are going great too.. We are full into the swing of sports & activities, it can be hard to keep up some days...

Here's a run down of what we do after school.................

Pickup from school is 3.15pm..

Monday-
Jordan soccer training 4-5pm
Taylor netball training 5-6pm

Tuesday-
Jordan dancing 3.45-4.45pm
Dan dancing 4.45-5.45pm
Taylor guitar 5.30-6.00pm

Wednesday-
Jordan soccer trainging 4-5pm
Taylor dancing 6-6.45pm
Taylor singing at the club 7.15-9.00pm

Thursday-
Dan soccer training 4.30-6.00pm
Taylor netball trainging 5.00-6.00pm

Friday-
FREE yahooo!!!

Saturday-
Taylor Netball either 9 or 10am
Taylor Singing 11.30am
Dan & Jordan soccer, times TBA

you can see why i have to have it done up as a timetable stuck on our pantry door.. lol.. I have a shocking memory lately, never use to, but it seems to be getting worse...
Taylor was half an hour late to Netball training the other week, well she got there at 5.30pm, i thought it started at 5.30pm, but when every said, 'nice of you to show up Taylor'. She replied with... 'hey, i have a new baby sister in the house and mum fell asleep'!!!!!!!!!!
*blush* gee thanks Taylor......
YES, i had fallen asleep, but she got there right on 5.30pm,...............................
which is when i thought training started............ but nope, its at 5pm, has been for the last couple of weeks now................. ok ok, i still have baby brain.... can i blame that??????

I really need to update, esp. before i do 'pop'....

Well i was worried i wouldn't get this photo, not that i thought id go early, but i just kept putting it off & off..
As you can see, i 'forgot' to get my 38wk photo... oopppss...
I also weighed myself this morning and i have put on 11.2kgs this pregnancy..I think that is still pretty ok. I think i had roughly put on about 20kgs with Jordan, and i had had him by now..I think i have doubled my weight since being on Maternity leave... :o( No wonder with what i have been eating while at home... I guess cause i have nothing else to do, so im eating...
Well i do have things to do, but i can' be bothered and i just can't seem to do what i want anyhow cause of my BIG bump and my HUGE sore feet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My (short) tall boy arrived the other day (i thought it wasn't going to get here before baby arrived!!), yippeee!!!
So now the baby's room is complete!!! if you can call it that??!!
Thankfully we don't use our lounge room, but have just renovated it, it is sooooooooo nice... Anyhow, the bassinet is now in here (so is the computer) and my tall boy that i had ordered to put in my room, is now in here too.... Its not really a nursery, its not really a baby's room, its not decorated at all, but it is still a nice place for baby to sleep.. (its actually the best room in the house now..lol..)
(sorry its not very big)...
The colours of the walls are actually a white colour & the carpet is a real chocolate brown (they actually gave us the wrong shade, i like it, but Brendan doesn't) The only thing yet to do in here is the tiles above the fire...
I used my old camera to take these, so there not the best..
The carpet looks a little odd, cause its new, it shows up every single mark, ie. foot prints & all.. lol.. (but it is the same carpet we got in our bedroom in early Dec. last year and it doesn't do it anymore.. )
This is a really old house, just more modern now.. lol.. (well, we think so.. )
Wish all rooms could be this big (there are 12 lights in the ceiling, thats how big it is..lol..). Our rooms are big (being an old house, but imagine all b/rms being this big!! lol.)

I went shopping the other morning and bought a new U-shape pillow, ready for feeding.
I really want a new recliner to put in the corner of our 'baby's room', Brendan is thinking about it, but it wont be here before baby comes though.. I also then went to the new HUGE baby shop that just opened up in the next town... I was in there for what seemed like ages, (i was asked by about 4 ladies if i was right as i was just wandering around for ever).. i wish i had an open bank account to buy EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!i found a couple of cot sets i really liked, but thought i might just wait and see if baby is a boy or a girl and then decide. The bassinet is going to be used for as long as we can, so ive got time to pick out something when we know the sex... (i actually wanted a little lamp, but there was nothing that jumped out at me, or they were either too boyish or girlish, so i'll wait!!!) I did buy a little basket though (in the above picture), for my new cupboard though (it had a little cow on it..lol..)... I couldn't buy nothing... lol

4wks to go...

Well i have been a very bad blogger lately..
Everything has been up in the air for the past 5wks and not in a good way either..

Baby wise, all is going well..
I have been having extremely strong and LOTS of branxton hicks, very OFTEN!!! but my midwife puts it all down to me being over worked & over stressed..
I have started Maternity Leave now, WOOOHOOO!!!!!!!!! and i have to admit, even though i have still been having them, not as much as before...
From my most recent photo, it looks like i have grown, but i haven't actually (according to my measurements at checkup) but baby has dropped a little bit, so that throws my bump out of shape too..

After sitting with my Nan for 4wks, almost every single day and sometimes over night (sleeping in her recliner) she had had enough of fighting it and passed away at 10.10pm Friday 4th of January 2008... She was in so much pain, (but thankfuly was medicated enough for her not feel it) so she is much better off, being at rest now...
It is still so hard to comprehend that she has gone. It sure has been a struggle lately.
We had her funeral last Wednesday and it was just beautiful..
It was pretty hard to see the kids break down and be so upset for the whole thing, but they needed to be there as they were close to Nan and loved her very much..
Jordan was the hardest to watch, as when we (just the family) got up to put a rose each on the casket, he just broke down. That broke my heart (again)...
Mum is going well, but she is finding it hard at certain times. Thats understandable though. It will just take time for everyone to come to terms with it all..

Reno's wise...
The lounge room is looking EXCELLENT.. it looks like something in a display home, if i do say so myself.. lol
We have 12ft ceilings and they are VERY decorative (hence, taking Brendan AGES to paint), but they are so worth it..
Brendan ripped up the carpet a couple of weeks ago and the floor boards are beautiful..
We're just waiting for the sander/staining guy to come tomorrow or Friday to give us a quote and hopefully it wont be too long and he can get stuck into them..
Not that we use that room that much, it is a big chunk of the house and is right THERE in your face when you walk in, so it will be good to have it finished..
Plus that is where the baby will be sleeping too.. :o)

Well the kids and i are having a lazy day today. I really would love to go for a drive to the beach or something, but i think its going to be to hot today (that makes sense, doesn't it, NOT!!!) i just don't want to have to be sitting around in the heat!!!! OH and an icecream from Cold Rock would be just devine.. But, i just can't be bothered going anywhere today... lol
So, a lazy day at home is on the cards i think...........................xx

3D scan..

Oh i can't believe i haven't made the time to show off my new photos...

I have just about worn out the printed copies of these, showing them off to anyone & everyone that will stand still long enough near me, to show them off...

A couple of weeks ago, someone from the parenting forum (EB) posted that they were getting 3D scans done locally..

It was purely for 'looking', nothing medically at all.. The cost was $40 and WOW, what a bargin that is these days for 3D scans.....

Anyhow, i sussed it all out and made an appointment to have a little lookie at my baby... (i want as many looks as i can possibly get!!!!) :o)

I also decided to take mum with me, as she has never seen any of my scans, even though she has been at all 3 deliveries. She has also never seen a 3D scan either.

And i wanted to take the kids with us too...

The appointment was for last Thursday, the 29th of November at 2.30pm.
I picked the kids up from school early, headed on into Maitland to pick Mum up from work and then headed to the John Hunter Hospital. At the Medical Suites there..

Well, as soon as the scanner was put on my (big) belly and the image came on the screen, i cried!!!! I couldn't stop then...

OMG how beautiful was my baby and how wonderful was it to see my tiny little baby, even though he/she is still in me!!!! (gosh, im going to start crying now)...

then WOW!!!!!!! my gosh, doesn't this little baby look like Taylor!!!!!!!!!??

well that's the first thing i though anyhow, and then so did mum too...

(the boys were a bit roudy, but) both Mum & Taylor were just in awe of it all too...

The lady doing the scan said how beautiful my baby was (she probably says that to everyone??) and how clear the scan was, how perfect baby was & how cute too... :o)

She did try to get some images in 4D, but baby was sound asleep and didn't move at all, so i didn't get much of that... :o( (well only 7secs, but baby didn't move)..

Baby did move his/her fingers (you can see his/her hand up near his/her far cheek) the tiniest bit, but not much..

more baby & reno update...

Well im 28wks & 4 days today...

I can't believe how fast this is going...

I know i only showed this similar photo 2wks ago, but when Taylor took my photo this morning, i couldn't believe that i looked a little bit different??!!!

I feel i look bigger in real life than i do in this photo. I still feel like i look like i do in the photo at 26wks. And even though that is only 2wks ago, looking at today's belly shot, my bump does look a little different????

Only 7wks left of work, yahoooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

Im getting alittle bit worried about my legs & feet, just like when i was pregnant with Jordan. They are really really puffy already, and i still have just over 11wks to go, so im sure they will only get bigger.. They were HUGE with Jordy, so no doubt they will this time round again.

im off to have my GD test on Thursday and then a clinic checkup a week Friday.

The reno's are still coming along.. Our bedroom (sorry boys, your old room) is now finished!!
The built-in was done last Saturday (the one before the last), but there was some problems with it, so i had to get them back to fix up there stuff ups!!!
Oh still waiting on the blinds and then its finished.. :o)

which should be, in about 1.5wks...

I moved our bed in last week, not reallly a good idea for a 27wk pregnant lady, but i did it anyhow. (pulled it all apart first & dragged it in, then put it together in the new room)

I LOVE sleeping in there, it is so nice & fresh, except for the street light coming in through the big exposed window... lol

I have slowly started putting our clothes in, but im taking my time, cause i can't be bothered too.. lol.

BUT, the first thing i did put in there, was the baby's clothes... I MUST take a photo and share.. It looks so cute.............

Brendan is still doing the lounge room, but it is a HUGE job. will be so worth it when its finished. Even having the new lights in looks fantastic, so once its all painted it will look even better..

Once we have finished the lounge room, we'll then move onto our old room which will be the boys new room...

Taylor had her singing Christmas concert on Saturday.

She sang Tomorrow (from Annie) and a Christmas song with another girl, Cassie. She did a wonderful job...

im kicking myself, my bloody video camera was dead i discovered just before she was to go on stage. I did have my little camera (photo) with me, so i taped it on that.. Its not the best recording, but at least i got it..... I'll have to see if i can YouTube it... :o)

Nothing else to report on though, i don't think???

Finally put some Christmas presents on lay-by today, talk about pushing my luck!!!!
I always seem to leave things to the last minute, but i have never been this late with Christmas presents...

I have only (i think) done the kids now, i have no idea what im going to get anyone else????

Its turning out to be a bit of a pain in the butt Christmas this year!!! Wrong time of the year to be pregnant... lol

baby & reno update...

When i first found out i was pregnant, i had all intentions of taking photos every week to see the difference/growth. As i hadn't taken ANY photos with my other 3 babies.. :o(

But, in true (hopeless) form of me, this is only my 3rd photo ive taken!!! :o(

I am so cranky with myself....... but nothing i can do about it now..

I MUST try & remember to take one every week from now on, but sadly, there wont be as much change, noticeable change now as there would of been much earlier on..... oh well...

im counting down the days till i finish up work.. 9wks today and im on Mat. leave...

Scary in one way (money wise) but SO great on the other hand!!!!!!

And i can't belive that im 26wks & 4 days!!!! gosh the time is flying..

We are so much in the middle of renovations at the moment its not funny, so it would be good to be home full-time at the moment to be able to do things around the house. But then again, its probably better not to be here and have to do the work... lol

The new fence is FINALLY getting put up today, yay!!!!!!
the new carpet for the (old) boys room, our (re-newed) room, the 'storm damage' room, is getting laid on Thursday YIPPPEEE!!!! and the built-in will be put in on Saturday, DOUBLE YIPPPEEE!!!! it is so exciting..

I CAN'T WAIT to put our bed in and stock up the cupboard with our clothes & the baby's clothes!!! then i can concentrate on cleaning out our (old) room empty it out ready for Brendan to put the new downlights & ceiling fan in and then paint it..

THEN the boys can move in to there (new) room... :o)

We probably wont get to the boys room until the lounge room is done, but that shouldn't take too long, but at least things are going ahead, finally!!!!

Baby is really kicking up a storm these days.. I lied in bed the other night and Jordan was interested to feel the baby kick.. So i kept his hand on my 'exposed' belly and he felt some really great big kicks. I then told him to watch carefully, and he could see my belly jump up & down. He thought that was facinating.. He then bend down and gave my belly a great big kiss.. Just as he was moving away, a great big kick was seen, almost reaching him..

We have decided to move into the boys old room. Even though it was there room before the storm and we told them it will still be there room when it gets finished. Guilty now, we have decided that it would be best for us to move back into the room. It is actually a 'parents room' and that is obvious. So we want it to look its best and what it really is, when we put it on the market, hopefully soon.. Plus, even though we will have the baby (bassinet) in the lounge room, baby will sleep in there, we will be able to push the bassinet into our room on 'inspection' days while trying to sell the house. In other people's eyes, it looks better to see a baby sleeping in the parents room, than it does in a lounge room.. Im not the type of person that likes to have a baby sleeping in with the parents, so baby wont sleep in with us, but the bassinet will sit in our room (as in the 'new' room, it will fit nicely) only at inspection times...................

I can't wait for our room to be done this week though, so i can have the baby things set up in our room/built-in.. :o)

We have a clinic checkup this Friday. Im really looking forward to it. To see how things are going. Plus i'll have to book in for my GD test and hopefully, Cherly might let us know about having another scan??? hopefully????I'll come back later and up-date...

ive had HEAPS of people tell me they think i am having a girl, even Brendan is dead set sure were having a girl?????????

I first thought i was having a boy and that was/is my prediction, BUT i have predicted the wrong sex with ALL the kids!!!!!

Now im really confused??? I sort of have a feeling this is a girl and from looking at the scans too, but there not that clear really and i think im looking for what i want to see??!!!

But do i stick with my original prediction or do i go with my new predicition???? It is killing me, i really want to know?!!!!!!!!!!!!
