Can somebody please tell me when & where that Chinaman was when i hit him and did i back over him aswell????
Just after having lunch at work today i got a phone call from the school..
Ah-oh, which one is sick????
"hello Mrs. Eyeington, im just ring to say that Taylor has had a fall at school today and she has hurt her arm. Im not saying its broken or anything, but it is very swollen and that doesn't look good"...
oh geee, ta...
I got up to the school and she was sitting waiting for me with an ice pack on it, & she was crying..
We went up to the hospital and we were pretty lucky & got seen to straight away. She had it x-rayed straight away and sure as, its broken...
Just a little break in her bone, about an inch/inch&half up from her wrist..
She has a 'Greenstick Fracture' (An incomplete fracture seen in children where only one side of the bone is broken)
They have half casted it (back slabbed it) & wrapped it..
We have to go and see our own Dr. on Monday, when the swelling has gone down and then she has to have a full plaster cast put on it...
Poor thing..
i know how she feels with the pain coming (stronger) and going and being helpless with it.. She is lucky in one way though, that she has done it to her left hand and she is right handed. Unlike Mum & I who have both hurt our dominant arms. My right and mum's left...
Even though she is in some pain it is still a bit of an adventure for her.
She can't wait to tell everyone at school and she can't wait to get her full cast on & show it off and get it all signed by her friends... She is hoping she can get a pretty blue one..
With her being such a water baby and it being summer now, im hoping to see about getting a fibreglass (water proof) cast put on it. Then that way she can still go swimming and doesn't have to miss out on all the fun... (Plus it will make it so much easier in the shower)
Im staying home with her tomorrow, so i'll see how she is going then to see if she'll let me take a photo of it or not...
take care.........xx
