its bloody 41degrees here today....

What is it with this weather lately??!!!!

How weird is the weather where you are??? It really SUCKS here at the moment...
last Thursday we had to go to Newcastle to see Taylor sing.
i wore 2 singlets, my jeans a jumper and dug out my really big knee length jacket and it was still
cold & miserable and raining...
Today, its 41 degrees', the air-con is blasting (+ my other one shit itself, boohoo!!!!!!!!)
and i can't get cool?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gosh this weather is a right royal pain in the big butt!!!!!


I had my bone scan yesterday, gosh it seemed to take ages..
I arrived there at 8.35am, got called in at 9.25am, had my needle in the top of my left hand,
yes i did cry and YES i am a sook..
Had the scan done on both my arms, then one on each arm.
Went away for 2.5hrs.
went back and had to have the same scans done again. (this time the dye had gone through)
this hurt a bit though, cause i had to keep still for 10mins each time and my arm just ached HEAPS...
went & had lunch with mum & Stephen and then went back for my scans 1.5hrs later..
Got a pathetic little picture for $401.30...

My Dr. rang this morning, she said i have a Contusion of the bone. (Which really is just a bruise.. )
She said i have a major bruise & swelling in & around my bone and to treat it like a fracture and
keep it in the sling... She said it will take a while to heal and no wonder it hurts......
I then got off the phone not thinking and didn't think to ask any questions...
So im not real sure how long it will take to heal, how it will (like can or should i be doing things)
or even how long it has to be in the sling for????? hopeless i am...

I went to work today but couldn't do a thing, it was a real pain in the butt...
Getting paid to do nothing is good, but it is a pain & a really long dragged out day.
And im sick of having to rely on people for lifts, esp. with Brendan away, so im going
to drive tomorrow, bugger it...


Brendan is away for a week for work this week.
It has been bad timing cause of my stupid arm and i do miss him, but it is still nice to
have a quiet time... lol
We went to a Christmas party on Saturday night, got home at 12.15am, got into bed around 12.35ish and his mobile rang at 12.45am.. He then didn't get home till 7am.. He had 3 nights like that last week, and they were after full days of work too...
He will get home on Friday afternoon, just in time for the 2 of us to go out for his work Christmas party. He then has to work on Saturday and then off on Sunday afternoon to Sydney till Wednesday for a training course for work...
It is nothing for him to work a 100hr week, poor thing...


Christmas shopping.. I haven't even started yet..
Every day that goes by i stress that little bit more knowing it is getting closer and closer and i haven't done a thing about it yet...
I really don't enjoy this time of the year, it seems to be getting more & more expensive
each year...
One good thing about it is i know what im getting off my mum & Stephen... A new BBQ... i CAN'T wait!!!!!!!!
i was going to get one from Chrisco (like i got my great new Dyson vacuum the other week) or something like that for next Christmas, but my mum & Stephen went out yesterday (while i was having my bone scan done) and bought me a excellent looking 4 burner one.. i am hanging out to cook some baked dinners... lol yummo
