just another day...

Nothing much to report here tonight...

My elbow is still KILLING me... i can move it a bit more, but boy does it hurt AND it aches the more i use it..
I had to ring Bronwyn tonight and tell her about it and say i can't play netball tomorrow night!!!! NOT happy!!! :o(
We are going so well too, we haven't lost a game yet... NOT saying they will cause im not there, FAR FROM IT!!!!!!!!! they'll probably play even better...
I just wish i could say at the end of the year when we have won all our games, that i played for every single one.... There goes my 60mins of full on exercise for a Wednesday... :o(

We had a massive wind & rain storm yesterday, it lasted a whole 5-10mins. It was over before it started, but boy was it rough... It was like a mini cyclone had whizzed through here!!!
I was home and heard/saw the whole lot, but somehow i didn't hear our side fence fell over..
i guess the wind & down pour was just too loud...
The fence was old and crappy and only just standing (well propped up) as it was.. We have been here for 9.5yrs and it was crappy then.... lol
So now we have to get some quotes (which i did this arvo) and 'inform' the neighbours and see what our chances are of getting a bit of $$ from them for a new fence...
They should think there lucky in a way though. Cause we have 2 blocks next to us, one being the Servo facing the same way and the other being a house (side ways on the other half of the block) they only have to pay a 1/4 of the price and we have to pay a half..
Oh well, it is benefiting us more than them, lets just hope they come to the party and chip in..

Oh, my payrise got approved last night at the board meeting, so next week, i'll be $2 or $3 an hour richer, wooohoooo!!!!
not sure if its 2 or 3 yet, will just have to wait till next Monday to see...
Julie and I were on our own at work today, so we sat out on the verandah/landing and had our lunch, it was really nice sitting out there. Glad it was a better day today than yesterday though...

I have to work tomorrow night, mid-month pokie clearout & Brendan has to work too. So i'll have to see if mum & stephen will have the kids over night..
Taylor is singing at the Newcastle Uni on Thursday and Mum, Jordan & I were going to go. So i'll only have to get up Thursday morning & go over there, get the kids ready and off to Shortland we'll go... Hopefully it will be a good day...

We have Barr's (my grandmother) Christmas Party on Saturday.. Its at Shannon & Lee's house (at Bellbird) this year.. We haven't been there yet, so it will be good to see there house...
Its usually a hard time trying to get everyone free to have the day together, so im looking forward to catching up with Dad's side of the family... The kids are looking forward to it too..

Ok, that's about it for tonight. My arm is really aching now, so i best get going...
