Well, Easter is ontop of us now..
Taylor & Dan had there Easter Hat Parade at the school yesterday, so it was rush rush in the morning for us all to get ready and be at the school (to get a park even) before the 9.30am start.
We did make it, thank goodness... And got a park..
I didn't really bother with the whole making a hat/basket, etc for the parade. All Taylor wanted was to have her face painted and Dan didn't really offer anything, so i thought the Bunny ears & face painting might just be enough... :o)
At first Jordan didn't want his face painted, but once he saw the other 2 kids, he decided he would like his done too...
The parade went well and we were out of there by about 10.30am, which is pretty good for a school activity...
Jordan & I then did a bit of grocery shopping and headed down to work to drop off some Hot Cross Buns for b'fast over Easter...
Of course Matt was there and doing his usual thing with the kids, decided to stir Jordan up.. They do play good together though.. lol.. (even though i think Jordan is the more 'maturer' one out of the 2 of them... )
There was an old box lying around in the office, so Matt & Julie talked Jordan into getting in it to play around. Matt them decided to take Jordan for rides in it..
So, being car mad that Jordan is, decided it was a great little car for him..
Julie then decorated the box for Jordan, even though she wrote 'Ford Rubbish' on it, not to Jordans delight, he loved the car.. He had then decided to take it home so he could play in it around the house AND as soon as he got home, he was going to sit in it, while playing the play station...

He is still playing with it even today..
About 3.30pm, the kids & i went to pick up the photos from the photographer from the Ball.. And yep, they are still crap....
When i get some spare time, i will scan them so i can post in here..
They are just so dark & off centre & wrong!!!!!! Its very frustrating and sad. We can't get that time back again to do them over again...
After that, the kids went to mums and mum & I went to Curves..
THEN, around 5.30pm i dropped some pj's & clothes off to mums, cause the kids were staying the night.. I then headed over to Bronwyn's place (Dan' 'mother-in'law'!!).
Bronwyn, her work friend Jess, her neighbour Amanda & I were off to Jubilee Gym at East Maitland to take a 'Pole Dancing' class...... OMG!!!!!!! Yep, you read that right...
It was soooooooo embarrassing, but yet sooooooooooo funny...
i had the sort of best funniest time, it was great...
It started out as a pilates/yoga type class, but it was really really strong. Great stomach muscle strengthening. This went for about 20mins, and as hard as it got, it was really good!!!!!!
Then came the funniest part... STRIPPING.. Yep, we learnt the art & how to strip..
We first learnt some moves, how to walk, how to shake it and how to slide along the floor. Then we started on a routine, walking across the floor and flaunting it.. THEN, (we had to take extra clothes) we put our 'other' clothes on over the top of what we already had on and, while doing our routine, we STRIPPED them off!!!!!
It was so funny, embarrassing too AND so not flattering seeing yourself do that in front of a mirror, YUK!!!!!!!
THEN, it was time to do our pole thing...
I found this heaps hard, im over weight (like derr), not very strong or fit and definitely can't hold my own weight... We had to hang onto our pole and lean all over the place, turn around on it and hang. That i could handle... But then, we had to grip onto the pole and pull ourselves up and hold it there for as long as we could... NOT, i def. couldn't do that part.. lol
Then she got us to hang onto the pole, wrap our legs around the pole and to twirl.. She could do it great and as easy as it does look, it was bloody hard... Im so glad i wasn't the only one that couldn't do it, but im afraid the others could do it a bit better than i attempted too... lol
But, it was pretty good. We had a great time and it was a great laugh and today, WELL, my stomach is extremely sore!!!!!
It was so good, that we put our name down straight away for next weeks class... lol
i highly recommend it to anyone!!!!! Not just for the learning part of it, but it is a great fitness fun thing to do, it is EXTREMELY funny, interesting and just great fun....
After we got home, Bronwyn packed up her playstation & some 'little extras' and we headed over to Amanda's house (extremely nice house, brand new, just like Bronwyns', so jealous) When we got there, they set up the dance mat for the playstation and we had a few Champagne Cocktails. Well, i only had one drink, cause i had to drive. But as much as i don't like champagne, it wasn't too bad. I had one go at the dance mat, now that was very funny.. And that is def. a must to buy.. How great that would be to have one of those, along with SingStar and have a few friends over, play them and have a few drinks... woohooo..
Ok, now, ive ranted & raved HEAPS today, sorry about that...
Today wasn't really anything to chat about..
Brendan got me up early this morning (6.30am, that is extremely early for me!!) and we went for a half hour walk...
I then went to work and did the normal, poker machine thing & the banking..
Went to mums for lunch cause we were having salmon patties, yummo.. (mum had made 100 of them today!!!) and then came home and did nothing... :o)
Taylor has gone to Danielle's for the night, the boys are playing around & being very silly and Brendan's lying on the lounge watching Six Feet Under, (i love that show!!!!) on DVD's...
So nothing exciting really...
Tomorrow will probably be just the same.. Off to work in the morning, maybe a bit of shopping during the day, Brendan has to get a new watch, a new battery for his car and a present for Shannon, his sister (who's b'day was yesterday!!!!).. We are going out for tea tomorrow night to the Cri, so we'll give it to her then...
That's about it.. That's been my last 2 days...
Thanks for reading... Take care..xx
