Mum & I were just saying today about my new vacuum arriving in November (via Chrisco of couse..lol..) and how that time will be here before we know it. Then it will be Christmas... *boo hoo*
Yesterday was a pretty good day..
The kids woke around 8am, so it was a bit of a sleep in..
Discovered that the Easter bunny had arrived and then the start of eating chocolate to there hearts content... (or they spew, whichever came first??!!) I can happily say though, the second didn't arrive...
Nan came down with her big bag of little eggs, then Shannon & Brett turned up with a couple of eggs & a (drinking) cup each for the kids..
Then Uma & Poppy turned up with 2x winter pj's each for the kids, GREAT, just what they needed. And that was Taylor's exact words too.. lol And some eggs in the bottom of there gift bags too...
There still yet to see Grandad & Maxine yet...
After a restful morning & of eating chocolate, we all got ready and headed off to Cessnock to go to Macca's, how exciting.. We hadn't really planned to do anything during the day, so we thought we might just take there kidst here and they could have lunch and a play on the equipment...
My gosh!!!!!! The tourists that were there.. We are use to having tourists around, with living in the Hunter & the Vineyards, but there were HEAPS at macca's yesterday...
The kids had a great lunch & play and the weather was just perfect..
We came home and got organised & went to the drive-in..
The kids all put there new pj's on, and grabbed there doona, blanket & pillows each and piled them into the car...
We grabbed hot chips to go with our esky of drinks, bread & DON'T forget the tomato sauce...
Headed to Heddon Greta to the drive-in and it was PACKED!!!!!!! we use to go at least once a month last year, but hadn't been at all this year and oh my gosh!!!!! Every man & his dog decided to go...
I guess it is school holidays though...
We watched 'The Shaggy Dog' first and then 'Ice Age 2'...I liked Shaggy Dog, but i thought Ice Age was better... Very funny...
Surprisingly the kids (esp. Jordan) stayed awake for both movies, but soon flagged out on the long trip home, a whole 5mins... lol
That was our Easter....I didn't get a photo of the kids with there Easter gifts, bad mum!!!!!
I did take a photo of 'some' of there Easter eggs though, but not all of them or there pj's... I'll have to try & get ahold of them at some stage, soon and take one....

I went to work this morning, started at 7.30am, gosh it was nice to have a Sunday off...
The kids stayed home with Brendan & while he polished his beloved car, the kids played in the drive way on there bikes & Jordan in his motorised car...
Dan can now ride WITHOUT training wheels....
Didn't take long, he's only 7yrs.. lol... Better late than never though...
I did some grocery shopping on my way home from work and boy was it hectic.. Everyone thinks there throat has been cut cause the shops were closed for 1 day!!!!!!
Anyhow, had lunch with Brendan & the kids and then went visiting..
Oh, Taylor has gone back to Danielle's. She rang at lunch time and asked if she could go back & play today... She is such a sweet little girl (that was Taylor's words too.. lol.. ) She is an only child and now that she goes to the Catholic School (she changed there this year) Taylor doesn't get to see her much anymore. So its good for both of them to have some time together.... I had a feeling though, when i went & picked her up this arvo, they asked if she could stay again... :o)
Went to mums to borrow her vacuum ( i so can't wait to get my new one!!!) then went & visited Nan, who isn't feeling great at the moment... She is waiting on some tests to come back, but mum thinks she might have Staf, but we have to wait and see... Its not very good though...
I then picked Brendan up from his mum's, where he went to when the boys & i went to see Nan. (they only live up the road from the Hostel)...
I had a feeling here too, but the boys didn't come home with us tonight, they are staying at Nanna's for the night and will be there tomorrow too, as i have to work...
Brendan & i came home to a lovely quiet house, so we decided to go for a walk, which i need to do BADLY, esp. with all these Easter Eggs in the house!!!!!!!!! off ot Curves tomorrow, NEED to!!!!!!
we then had Spag.Bol, that i had already made, for tea and now, here i am!!!!!!!!!
He's asleep on the lounge, nothing unusual and im surfing the net...
Can't get better than that... lol
(i think my photos might be a bit dark, so i'll have to re-edit them when i get the time, sorry..xx)
