Monday was just another busy day at work...
Tuesday i had the day off work to catch up on some things around the house, ready for a busy working week. But was a bit lazy and mainly watched the telly with 'The Great Escape'...
Wednesday was just back to work, and then again at 5.30pm too for a couple of hours..
Thursday Jordan & I went to Glendale to pick up a layby and then came home & cleaned up my bedroom at a bit, as a small bomb had decided to land in it...
Friday was a 'long' lunch day at work. I love these days... Got picked up at 10.30am to go to work, when i got there i put a TSH order in, woohoooo. We then left at 12pm to go to Wallsend Diggers to check out there outdoor furniture, as we need new furniture for our new outdoor verandah at work (or the 'smoker's deck its really built for!!) we only stayed there for about 10mins and then went into Merewether to have lunch at the Mary Ellen, yummo!!!!!!!!! We left there at about 6.30pm (all payed for by work of course!!!!!!) Julie then dropped Matt, Vic & I off at the Chelly and we stayed there for the rest of the evening... Brendan came up about 10pm (i think??) and we had a few more and then he took me home...
Saturday we got up around 7.30am got ready and i went & picked the kids up from Shannon & Brett's. Bought them home to get ready for sport... It was Brendan's turn to go to Netball today and my turn to go to Soccer with Dan..
Dan played at home against Singleton and (yet again :o( ) we lost 4 - 0.. Taylor had a great game, they played the Cheeky Monkeys. We won, woohooo 23 - 3. She only played half a game, so they left & came over to soccer to see the 2nd half... We then went into Rebel Sport and bought Dan a new pair of Soccer Boots as his old ones were just getting too tight (& impossible to get on)... So he will be decked out in new Nike (white, yuk!!) boots next week... I'll try & get a photo when i can...
That's my week.. Not really that exciting, but at least there has been no dramas... :o)
I'll have to go to bed soon. Im going to try & go to work around 4.30am and get things all done & then be out of there by arount 6.30/7.00am to be back home and in bed. Ready for when the kids get up... They are looking forward to tomorrow to give me my Mother's Day presentS that they bought at school... (yep, more than 1, woohooo!!!!)
I just wanted to share with you my Mother's Day present from last year... It was one of the BESTEST presents i ever got!!!!!! Not only because i love it so much, but because Brendan is usually a last min. thought kind a gift giving person. And that usually means not a lot of thought went into it... BUT this present, it was actually something that i had really really wanted AND he had obviously got in early and went & seeked it out... When i got my presents last year off the kids (after i had been to work and then climbed back into bed)(& we don't believe in buying for each other, he's not my dad & im not his mum, so it is always FROM the kids!!!!) When i opened my present & saw what it was, i bawled my eyes out for AGES!!!!!!!! It was just so special & great that he had done that....
BUT, i didn't actually get it straight away, i had to get a voucher for it, because they don't stock these in the surf shop (cause there too expensive) incase they don't sell.. He had been to 3 different Surf Shops to find it.. I had to get a voucher and go in & order it myself, BUT the thought was definately there and it was EXACTLY what i wanted...
Ok, raved enough... I wonder what i get IF ANYTHING tomorrow... lol.....
