Im excited...

Im getting a new computer, WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!

ive had this old dinosaur for almost exactly (does that make sense??) 5yrs.. I so can't believe it has lasted and neither can my computer techy guy...
It is heaps slow and a pain in the big butt!!!!!
But it has got me through, just, but i will be extremely happy to have a new one... :o)
I rang Brad (our work computer techy) today to get a quote off him and he is going me a deal that i think is pretty good...
Im getting a HUGE harddrive, new keyboard/mouse/speakers, a dvd burner AND a 19" flat widescreen screen!!!!!! I am SOOOOOOOOO stoked!!!!!
Im having Wednesday & Thursday off next week, so im going to spend all day Wednesday cleaning up my brothel of a lounge room (how embarrassing, yes, it probably will take all day!!!!) i have scrapping stuff everywhere and i badly need to clean up the existing computer space...
I am just so excited i don't know how i am going to be able to wait a WHOLE WEEK!!!!! till i get it...
Brad is going to transfer ALL my stuff, (photos, documents, etc) over for me too.. What a lovie...
Ive also asked him about a PhotoShop too and he is going to install that for me too... woohoooooo
The only down side to getting a new computer, is will not go too well with my last post...
I was (and still am i guess) on a bit of a downer and feeling extremely flat lately (except for my excitment for a new computer)...
I was going to try and cull a bit of my computer time, which i have a lot anyhow. Not because i want to, but because i just don't have any time..
How am i going to not want to play with my new toy when it comes????
And, you know what's really really going to pee me off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Brendan on it all the time, ESP. when he doesn't contribute to ANY of its purchase or upkeep (ie. broadband costs!!)...

Curves has a competition starting on the 1st of August, for the whole month..
Its called 'The Biggest Loser'... hhhmmmm wonder where they got that title from... lol
There are teams of 8 and you have to get weighed in at the beginning of the month. The team that loses the most weight at the end of the month, wins..
Then, the results go up against all the other Curves around the Newcastle & Hunter area..
The winning team from there then wins a prize... I read it only on Tuesday, but i can't remember what it is now.. derrrrrrrrr
Plus the individual biggest loser wins a prize too..
All our team names (there are 12 teams) have something to do with sweet desserts...

I had all intentions of water loading over the weekend, ready for my big weigh in on Monday, but when we went today, Louise (from Curves) talked me into getting weighed today.. So i did (which was VERY scary anyhow!!!!), there goes my intentions of drinking 10ltrs of water over the weekend for a successful weighin to help me by the end of the month... lol
Oh well, i guess thats fair, but i reckon heaps of people will do it...

SO, after all that...
I have full intentions of (trying) to do my best for the next month!!!
I know easier said than done, esp. when it comes to me...
but i have to at least try and see how i go. After all, i can't let my fellow Mud Cakes down, now can i...
