Its been a while....

Well, as the title says, it has been a while since i have done an update..
I feel like its been ages since i have been here, but actually i was here ALL day Monday creating 2 new Slides to put on show here..
I have added one down the side, which shows off my TSH June Daily Challenges, which mind you i completed ALL of them!!!!! Which was a total surprise to me...
I have then put my name for the July Challenges, but have done a whole ONE LO for them.. So i think i'll have to admit defeat and not worry about the other 29 that have to be done...
My 2nd Slide that i made just shows off some favourite photos of mine. So they are a main Slide in my title..
Im pretty happy with what i have acheived.. :o) A 1st for me...

So, what else has been happening here..
Not a lot really..
Jordan is FULL up with the flu at the moment and is very miserable..
Taylor 'reckons' she has it too, but its a bit of a fake sniff sniff really...

Its still school holidays here and it is great... Sometimes the kids get on my nerves, but that is only normal.. But it is so much better than all the running around we do when school is in.. No uniforms to wash, no lunches to make, no sport... it has been so nice...
Today we were going to nick down to Glendale (about 20mins away) i am after some more singlet tops that i bought last week at Jay Jay's.. They are excellent under other tops... But Taylor reckons she's too sick to go anywhere.. So we are stuck at home... I then thought i might get some scrappin' done, but all ive done it put it off, sit on at the puter, done washing, hung it out, dishes & cook lunch... At least it's a lazy day though..
Yesterday, i worked. Taylor went to Shannon & Brett's as she slept there the night before. They boys went to poppy's ..
Tuesday was a nice day. The kids went up to Barr's (my grandma's) for the morning. She hadn't seen them in a while and had a tree full of mandaines for them to pick (which btw, we left there :o( ) and i went into town (cessnock) and just did some nice quiet shopping on my own, it was SOOOOOOOO nice...
When we came home from Cessnock, Taylor had an appointement to get her eyes tested.. Thankfully, her eye's are very healthy and her vision is perfect...
Monday, i had a sickie. I stayed home with the kids as Jordan was heaps sick and i just wanted to be home with him.. He lied around on the lounge and did nothing and i ended up doing nothing except my slides, but it was a very nothing day...
This whole week has been a very 'NOTHING' week...
On Sunday, Taylor went to Danielle's for the day to play. (after i had been at work) and the boys & i went for a drive to Lochinvar to the pub there for a very yummy lunch (sitting in front of the big open fire).. We had been there before, so we knew it was nice... Then just did some grocery shopping on the way home and i then went to work..
Saturday, we still had Telisha here with us, so we all went to the Station for lunch, its always VERY yummy there too... Janice picked Telisha up around 3pm and we all then started to get ready for the party we were going too.. It was Denis Latter's 60th b'day. He is our handy man at work, but we have known him for years... It was a great party, it was at work and the kids had a ball running around the whole auditorium with all the other kids there.. All the drinks were paid for and the food was YUMMO!!!!!!!!! It was a pretty good night... Brendan didn't go, he doesn't like being where there is people he doesn't know, what a sook... But it was good, cause i didn't have to put up with his miserable mood!!!!! lol Mum went with us, cause she was invited too, but Stephen had to work, so she would of been on her own, so it worked out good... We then caught the courtesy bus home...
Friday, which was the 7th, this is getting confusing cause im going backwards!!!! lol
I went to work & the kids went to Mum & Stephens.. Oh that's what happened, they went 'shopping' for a new car... They looked at new Sonata's, Magna's & something else, but i can't remember what it is now??? Well anyhow, to cut a long story short, over the weekend, they looked at another Magna and that's the one they have bought.. Just have to wait for all the paper work to come through now and it's theres!!!!!! :o)
In the arvo, Taylor & I went & picked Telisha up from Janice's (my BIL's mum) and the 2 girls & i went to Newcastle to go see the Jaegers (netball) play... We met Bronwyn, her 3 girls, Tanya, her 2 girls & 2x of Bronwyn's friends, there and we all went in to see the Jaegers last home game... We had been the week before and it was fantastic, even though we had lost, but then we had *free* seats, thanks to Bronwyn's work (CBA). We had great seats too.. This time when we went, it was a bit more quiet, (which was sad really) and the whole back section was empty (which is where we sat the week before).. So at the 1st quarter, we moved from our cramped seats, up to where there was no one sitting and we then had the best seats in the house... lol


Telisha had a great night, she had never seen a netball game & thought it was really great.. She then stayed the night at our place. She has a pretty hard life where she lives (Port Macquire), so i like it when she gets to come down here in the school holidays & gets to come & stay with us for a couple of days.. Her & Taylor get on so well..
Thursday (8th), i went & had my tax done in the morning. Im so hoping i get all of what she told me back (& no one decided to take it from me before i get to spend it.. lol) Im hoping i get to pay off a bill and then buy a new computer.. I SOOOOOOO badly need a new computer... I had to get a form from Jordan's old DayCare, to do with this new 30% rebate thingy. And with that one piece of paper, i get an extra $250 back on my tax.. woohooo.. It pays to have all your receipts etc... :o)
The kids & I then had lunch at the club with mum. We then went & done some shopping at Target, as they had 40% off there kids underwear.. Which we needed BADLY!!!!!!! its funny how washing machines always seems to eat just one sock... So i spent up big there for the kids..
Wednesday, i had to work, so nothing exciting happened there... The kids went to poppies and they walked down to the Empire and had a nice outing for lunch...
Tuesday, i spent the day at the hairdresses.. I had to take the kids with me though, but they were pretty good.. I had packed drinks for them, lollies & a cupcake each.. They took books, pencils & Jordan took the DS game... We were in there for a while FOUR hours!!!!!!! gosh!!!!!! Instead of getting my 'magenta' streaks re-done, i got all new streaks and got them done BLUE instead... lol



Monday was the start of the school holidays and the kids went to poppies.. Tay & Dan had there bikes there and so poppy thought he would take them for a ride and get lunch... They rode there bikes & Jordan & poppy walked, all the way to Heddon Greta pub.. That is like a HUGE hill to the next town, which would probably be about 3klms from there house to the pub???!! Thats a huge effort for the kids and then to come back again.. lol. But they had a great time...

Well, i think that might be it... phewwwwwwwwwww
I know there is a couple of days inbetween the end of this post and my last post, but for the life of me i can't remember what has happened then????
i think i have over done it with a post for now though...

PODS have a new flavour out Dove MINT!!!!!!!! oh my god, they are so YUMMY!!!!! (everyone knows i'd kill for mint though!!!!)
Salt & Peper Squid... OMG!!!! This is so yummy... I had it at the Chelli a couple of times & then when we went to Abermain Hotel, they had it to... THEN, i though, hhmmmmm, i might see if Sandra (the lady that runs our bistro at work!!!) if she could get me in a bag of it... AND YEP, i have 2 (well only 1 left now) bags in the freezer... I just cook it in the oven myslef and its just divine...

Ok, how sad is that!!!!!!! Im talking about food like its an obsession!!!!!! oh well, i'll go & hide now...
