Happy Mother's Day ...
(for yesterday)
I had a great day...
I got very spoilt and it was really nice...
I went to work at 4.00am VERY rare for me to acheive that.. I came home around 7.00am, put my pj's back on and got back into bed, with Jordan & Brendan... lol
I got in another 2hrs sleep before the kids wanted to wake me up...
Jordan gave me a bookmark that he had drawn on from his pre-school.. He thought it was great to tell me he had drawn me, with a big belly (thanks Jordie) that he loved.. awwwwwww
Dan had bought me a square metal plant box and it came with a packet of sunflower seeds and i also got a wool crochet coathanger.
Taylor had bought me a tea light holder, blue with a flower on it and a little plastic teddy shaped thingy (lol) that has bath soap in it..
Brendan, from the kids of couse, bought me a new MP3 player, woooohoooooo!!!!!!!!!!!
I already have one, that mum gave me with my stereo, but it only holds about 24 songs... This new one (pict. above) holds about 240 songs... (I already have 92 on it from work on Sunday night)... woohoooo, its great...
I found this picture of it on the net, but it hasn't shown up here very good... Im yet to get a photo of all my presents, but i'll do it asap and show it then...
After i got all my pressies, Brendan had made me scrambled eggs, with a crossont(sp??) and orange juice.. I did get to have it in bed, but i thought it would be a bit messy... So i had it at the b'fast bar instead... While he did the dishes and the kids started to have there showers...
When we were ready, we headed over to mums to give her, her presentss..
After leaving there (i wanted her to come with us, but she wouldn't!!)
We then went to Patterson to have lunch at the pub there... Then Brendan saw a sign for a 'Arts & Craft' show at Vacy, so he took us a drive to there... That was a total shock as he has NEVER done that sort of thing before, so it was so nice... But sadly, when we got there it was only an art show.. It was pretty interesting though and the kids thought it was pretty kewl.. Esp. Taylor, as she loves to draw...
After leaving Vacy we headed to Dungog (about 25mins away) for a scenic drive... Once we got there, Brendan was ready for a coffee, so we found a little coffee shop and stopped for a bite... He had his coffee & cake and the kids & i had an ice-cream...
We then made the 45min drive home.. Called into mums again to pick up some rabbit food....
We were only at home for about an hour and then it was time for me to go to work, again...
Which wasn't too bad, its a pretty easy shift on a Sunday night, PLUS i got to download my songs from work onto my new mp3 player... :o)
After work & the raffle, Brendan & the kids came down and we had dinner with his mum, Shannon & Brett...
Went home around 9pm and crashed soon after....
All in all, even though i had to work in the am & the pm, it was a great day.... Lots of spoiling my way, i could certainly get use to that.... lol
I hope everyone had a great day...
