Happy Birthday Jordan..xx

It is so hard to believe that FOUR years ago today,

we welcomed my precious little handsome man into the world...

He was just so tiny..

And now he is a cheeky little monkey..lol..

Here he is showing you how old he is..

Jordan was due on my birthday, September 29th...
what a pregnancy it was...
i was extremely stressed & worried for the first 12wks (after losing our baby before Jordan), i was worried after the 12wks mark, but not as much...
From about 12wks i was starting to have back problems (which i already had before kids anyhow, but they got worse after each pregnancy) and i started having pelvic cramps too..
From about the 16wk mark i couldn't lie down, well without having cramps & back spasms & not being able to get up... So, i started to sleep, sitting up in our lounge.. That's where i slept till even a couple of weeks after i had Jordan...
I began begging my OB/GYN, (who was a wonderful man) to induce me from about 30wks on.. But he wouldn't be in on it.. lol.. I gained just over the 'normal' amount of weight, but i was HUGE. When they measure your tummy, which is usually the same amount in cms as weeks you are, well at 37wks my tummy measured 52cms!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!! No wonder i couldn't walk. But that was that my pelvis had given in and from 30wks on i had to wear a brace...
Anyhow, my blood pressure slowly started to rise more & more (from me being in so much pain, plus i started to get pre-eclampsia) each time i went for a checkup and at 37wks he decided (gave into my pestering him!!!) he would induce me and because of my size he was threatening a big baby...
Taylor was born on her due date @ 8lb 13oz and Daniel was born on his due date @ 8lb 14oz, so Dr McGrath thought i would have another big baby...
So, 10days early from me due date, i went in to be induced.... How scared i was, i knew what was coming... lol
well i arrived in at the hospital, not a bed available, had to have a blood test to make sure everything was going fine.. i couldn't get a bed till around 10am, can you believe that 11 baby's were born that day, not bad for a little town...
I was hooked up to the drip & my waters broken at 12noon, plus they didn't actually start the drip straight off, she didn't set it enough. At 1.00pm my one huge contraction of HEAPS of pain handsome little man arrived into the world...

I left the hospital the next day and bought our new baby son home to his big sister & big brother who were extremely excited to have a beautiful new baby brother.
and i have to say, they still are....

Poor little Jordan wasn't getting the right kind of food he was needing, well apparently he wasn't getting any (even though he was an excellent baby, he didn't show his malnourishment) we had a home checkup four days later after being discharged and Jordan was down to 3140grms or 6lb 12oz.. i put him straight onto the bottle and after a couple of weeks he turned into a real little cuddly porker... :o)

That's a run down on Jordan's entrance into the world, four years ago today..
i shouldn't be typig this out, it is making me extremely clucky, but then again, what doesn't??!!!! LOL
I was going to take a photo of all Jordan's presents today, but when i got home from dancing, Taylor had already put them all away in his room...
i will get them all out on Thursday and try & upload a photo here...
