back to school

Well, Tuesday the kids went back to school...

how exciting it all was too... Daniel cried he didnt want to get Miss Higson and Taylor was hoping she didn't get a male teacher!!!
Well, just like last years hopes for who we got & didn't get and then all our worse wishes came true, this year, EXACTLY the same!!!!!
I was a bit worried about Daniel as he really really didn't want Miss H and then he did, but when i picked him up in the afternoon, he said she was great....
Taylor didn't have Mr. Sergon until the next day and she said, HE IS FANTASTIC, HE IS SOOOOOOOO COOL.... He is the best teacher there, so she says..
So it all worked out great in the end.
Both the kids didn't get any of there immediate friends in there class though, but i say thank goodness for that....
Taylor did great last year in the 'special class' and in saying that, i don't mean 'special'. I mean she was picked out year 3 to go into a year 4 class cause she is a smart cookie. So now that she has done all year 4 work last year and going into Year 4 this year will be interesting to see how things work and what sort of work she will do...

Dan did great last year, but he has too many fans.. You know how it is being SOOOOOOOO popular and all with the opposite sex you just can't help these things... lol Well not this year buddy, he has to tell the chicks to lay off a bit and put that little bit extra work in..
Not wanting to 'compare' the 2, but with Taylor being way off the charts last year doing the Basic Skills Test, it will be interesting to see how Dan goes with it this year...

Jordan started back at Pre-school this year. They do the first day in 2 shifts and this being his second year there, he got the 2nd shift. Which was just perfect as we could take Tay & Dan to school and then have time to spend with Jordan. It was going to be a bit of a worry with Tom (his bestest mate) not being there this year, but thankfully we saw him in the morning at the 'big school' and he was fine with that...
There was only a hand full of kids at pre-school when we got there (he started at 12.30pm) and only 3 other boys that he knew from last year... Riley being one of them and he was happy with that....
Now he doesn't go back till Monday next week, but thankfully he loves school too and enjoys he's 2 days at pre-school...
I can't believe my baby will be at big school next year, i am SO not looking forward to that...

Dancing starts next week..
as much as im looking forward to the kids getting back into some moving stuff and my dancing too, im not too keen to start the whole running around & $$$ side of it...
Taylor is starting guitar lessons on Tuesday, so thats an extra thing to run around too. Thankfully we was able (thanks Dad) to find someone in Kurri. She has given up Tap this year, but is still doing Jazz...
We have our timetable all worked out, but just have to wait for Soccer & Netball to start and then try & slot them in too....

Monday, Daniel, Jordan & I took Mum to Sydney to see her Dr.
I was worried about the trip home, because if he hadn't of gave mum good news she would of killed him.. But thankfully, he is happy with how her hand/wrist is going and she is now allowed to drive. THANK GOODNESS!!!!!!!!! she has been really depressed lately (more than usual) cause of her wrist.. He doesn't want to see her for 6mths now, so thats good...
The boys LOVED there visit to the big city.. Jordan though the Monorail was just the best and he couldn't get over how big CentrePoint was, it frightened him a bit when he first looked up at it from standing RIGHT underneath it when we got off the monorail..
He also thought it was great when we went over the Harbour Bridge...
